August 28 Dogs ‘N’ Drones in #DiscoveryPark

The view can be stunning in Henderson, Nevada.

Join us Friday, August 28, 7-8pm-ish for Dogs and Drones – a free and open community meetup in which we learn how use smart phones and drones. Let us know if you’re attending and please bring all or more of the following: dog, drone, smartphone, plastic bag.

Dogs and Drones takes place the last Friday of the month in Henderson’s Discovery Park in Green Valley Ranch (see the Google Map). This casual meetup connects dog lovers and drone aficionados as a pretext for a friendly neighborhood meet-and-greet. Get to know the names of your neighbors! Meet the locals. Bonus points if you bring a ukulele.

Meeting point: Horseshoes! Parking is nearby off of Walnut Village Road (turn off from Palomino Village).

Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership. Clean up bags will be available, but come prepared to clean up after your dog. Also, practice responsible drone flying.

Remote participants are welcome. Check out our #Periscope streams! Keep an eye and share the #dogsndrones hashtag. Use this event to help you plan your next visit to Southern Nevada. We will be talking about nearby state parks, local markets and where to watch the Rugby World Cup. Please like and share our event with friends who are in the area.
