At a time of economic crisis and environmental threat, countries everywhere are seeking to address the dual challenges of maximising the economic value of their natural and cultural heritage while protecting and preserving that heritage. This international conference will focus on the potential created by new technologies for creating high-quality, remote-access visitor experiences for World Heritage Sites and other sites of cultural, historical and natural significance where physical access must be restricted.
